Using either peppermint or spearmint leaves, this refreshing mint tea recipe makes for a delicious healthy drink. Spearmint and peppermint are usually the ones most folks grow and use in their cooking...
But you could try some of the other 20+ varieties generally available. Pineapple, lemon, ginger, basil, apple, water and pennyroyal are just some varieties you could grow and use.

2 cups of water
1½ tbsp fresh mint leaves

That's it! A refreshing healthy cuppa in no time at all!
Here's a short video of how I made it...
I do recommend you use the fresh leaves as you'll get a tastier healthier drink.
But if you only have dried available you can use them.
Just try and get the freshest dried you can.
Some herbs lose a lot of their flavour and strength in the drying process.
See my growing mint page for tips to get the freshest, healthiest leaves.
